Thank you for visiting the MatShop.

This division of M. D. Arndt & Co. Ltd. began as a result of our involvement with artists, photographers and crafts people for over 30 years. During that time we constantly heard about the need for reasonably priced framing supplies and materials to allow you to compete in the marketplace. We also heard from companies who were looking for those same supplies for corporate awards, gifts and promotions. In every case, local custom framing prices were out of reach.

We began simply by offering a program called Create-a Mat. We were able to show many people how to combine simply cut mats and make single and double mats cost effectively. This lead to some of our most popular products such as our Presentation Packages and our NEW Slide-in Mats.
